The CIS ATC’s delegation led by the First Deputy Head Zhanat Saypoldayev took part in the international scientific and practical conference on "Topical issues of scientific support for countering terrorism and other manifestations of extremism in the CIS member-states", organized by the Basic Organization of the CIS Member-States for the Study of Problems of Combating Terrorism and Other Manifestations of Extremism on May 13, 2025.
The event was attended by representatives of scientific and research organizations of the competent authorities of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The participants discussed burning issues of countering terrorist and extremist threats that require scientific insight, as well as the results of research in this area.
In his statement Mr. Saipoldayev emphasized the importance of continuously strengthening the ties between scientific and educational organizations of the Commonwealth countries and practical units of the competent authorities in the interests of improving the educational and methodological support for anti-terrorist activities and more effectively solving applied operational and service tasks in the field of countering terrorism and extremism.
