A representative of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center took part in a round table on "Counteracting the Ideology of Terrorism and Preventing Extremism, Interethnic and Interfaith Conflicts in the Khamovniki District of Moscow", organized by the Moscow State Linguistic University and the Khamovniki District Administration of Moscow on April 18, 2025.
The event was attended by representatives of local governments, religious and public organizations, teachings staff and students of universities.
During the meeting, the participants discussed current issues of counteracting the terrorist and extremist ideas, problems arising in practical work, and the achieved results.
The CIS ATC’s representative spoke on modern terrorist threats in the information space and their transformation over the past year and emphasized the need to help young people become critical thinkers and know how to safely use the Internet.
