A representative of the CIS ATC took part in the international scientific and practical conference on "Basic Organizations of the CIS Member-States in the Humanitarian Sphere: Best Practices and Prospects for Cooperation" organized by the Moscow State Linguistic University on April 3, 2025, in Moscow, and dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Basic Organization for Languages and Culture of the CIS Member-States. This status was granted to the Moscow State Linguistic University.
The conference participants exchanged experience and best practices of cooperation in the humanitarian sphere, discussed prospects for improving work and strengthening interaction between universities and basic organizations of the CIS in the context of a multilingual, multicultural and multi-confessional world.
The CIS Secretary General Sergey Lebedev addressed the audience with a welcoming remarks by commending contribution of the Basic Organization for Languages and Culture of the CIS Member-States to the formation and development of not only the educational, but also the humanitarian space of the Commonwealth.
In her statement, the CIS ATC’s representative congratulated MSLU on the significant date and noted the university’s significant contribution to solving complex and diverse tasks in linguistic and cultural support of integration processes in the Commonwealth, strengthening interethnic ties and mutual understanding between peoples, and developing cooperation in the field of countering terrorism and extremism.
