CIS ATC Participates in the International Science-to-Practice Conference on "Current Issues of Legal Psychology"

 
A representative of the CIS ATC took part in the international science-to-practice conference on "Current Issues of Legal Psychology" ("Yenikeev Readings"), organized by the All-Russian Research Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow on November 22, 2024.
 
The event was attended by prominent scientists in the field of legal psychology, forensic practitioners and criminologists.
 
The conference reviewed problems of legal psychology and psychology of security, vectors of their development. The participants discussed contemporary approaches to individual assessment of criminal risks, problems of psychology of preliminary investigation in cases related to the study of biometric information, the main threats to the information and psychological security of citizens.
 
In her report, the Center’s representative focused on current issues of preventive psychology in the anti-terrorist activities of the competent authorities of the CIS member-states. She noted the significance of the adoption of the Program of the CIS Member-States Cooperation in the Field of Deradicalization for 2025–2027 (adopted by the Council of CIS Heads of States on October 8, 2024) and the importance of participation of specialists in the field of preventive psychology in the implementation of the measures envisaged by that document.
