First Deputy Head of the CIS ATC Zhanat Saipoldaev attended a science-to-practice conference on cooperation of law enforcement agencies of the CIS member-states in countering illegal migration which was held at the Moscow MIA University named after V.Ya. Kikotya on December 7, 2023.
The event brought together representatives of migration authorities of 9 CIS states (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan), CSTO Secretariat, Office of UN High Commissioner for Migration, International Migration Organization, and eight CIS bodies, including CIS ATC.
The participants exchanged best practices in countering illegal migration, reviewed inter-state cooperation in this field.
