The secretary of the Scientific and Advisory Council at CIS ATC took part in the science-to-practice workshop on “Improvement of preventive work with the persons mostly affected by terrorist ideology, including those in need of targeted preventive intervention (case study of persons convicted of terrorist offences)” organized by the Scientific and Research Center of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB SRC) on March 28, 2023.
The event was attended by representatives of the Russian FSB, Office of National Anti-Terrorist Committee, Russian Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs, All-Russia Research Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Research Institute of the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service, and CIS ATC.
The participants reviewed organizational, legal, psychological, educational, religious aspects of the preventive work with the mentioned category of convicted persons and offered their proposals to improve this activity.
