Organizations designated as terrorist or extremist in the procedure established by the national law of the CIS member-states (as per the information available at CIS ATC: copies or dates of the court judgements)

1. At-Takfir wal-Hijra is an international organization which was designated as extremist and its activity was prohibited in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (judgement of Saryarkinsk district court of Astana as of 18 August 2014).

2. Al-Qaeda is an international organization which was designated as terrorist and its activity was prohibited in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (judgement of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of 15 October 2004).

3. Osbat al-Ansar is an international organization which was designated as terrorist and its activity was prohibited in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (judgement of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of 15 March 2005).

4. Aum Shinrikyo (Aleph) is an international organization which was designated as terrorist and its activity was prohibited (judgement of the Court of Astana as of 17 November 2006).

5. Boz Qurd is an international organization which was designated as terrorist and its activity was prohibited in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (judgement of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of 15 March 2005).

6. Muslim Brotherhood is an international organization which was designated as terrorist and its activity was prohibited in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (judgement of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of 15 March 2005).

7. Taliban Movement is an international organization which was designated as terrorist and its activity was prohibited in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (judgement of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of 15 March 2005)..

8. Jund al-Khilafah (Soldiers of the Caliphate) is an international organization which was designated as terrorist and its activity was prohibited in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (judgement of Atyrau City Court as of 25 November 2011).

9. Jamaat mujahideen of Central Asia is an international organization which was designated as terrorist and its activity was prohibited in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (judgement of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of 15 March 2005).

10. Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan is an international organization which was designated as terrorist and its activity was prohibited in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (judgement of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of 15 October 2004).

11. Islamic Party of East Turkistan is an international organization which was designated as terrorist and its activity was prohibited in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (judgement of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of 15 October 2004).

12. Turkistan Islamic Party (Jamagat of Turkistan, Turkistan Jamagatis) is an international organization which was designated as terrorist and its activity was prohibited in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (judgement of the Court of Astana as of 5 March 2008).

13. Kurdistan People`s Congress is an international organization which was designated as terrorist and its activity was prohibited in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (judgement of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of 15 October 2004).

14. Islamic State (IS, Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, the Islamic State of Iraq and ash-Sham, Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) is an organization which was designated as terrorist and its activity was prohibited in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (judgement of Esilsky district court of Astana as of 15 October 2015).

15. Lashkar-e-Taiba is an international organization which was designated as terrorist and its activity was prohibited in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (judgement of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of 15 March 2005).

16. People's Party Algais non-registered public association which was designated as an extremist organization and its activity was prohibited in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (judgement of district court No. 2 of Almalinsk district of Almaty as of 21 December 2012).

17. Social Reform Society is an international organization which was designated as terrorist and its activity was prohibited in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (judgement of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of 15 March 2005).

18. East Turkestan Liberation Organization (Sharqiy Turkestan Azatliq Teshkilati, SHAT) is an international organization which was designated as terrorist and its activity was prohibited (judgement of the Court of Astana as of 17 November 2006).

19. Senim.Bilim.Omir is a republican public association which was designated as an extremist organization and its activity as well as the activity of its affiliates were prohibited through liquidation in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (judgement of the Specialized inter-district economic court of the East-Kazakhstan region as of 7 June 2012).

20. Tablighi Jamaat is an international organization which was designated as extremist and its activity was prohibited in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (judgement of Saryarkinsk district court of Astana as of 26 February 2013).

21. Al-Nusra Front (FAN, DAN, Jabhat al-Nusra? al-Quaeda in Syria, al-Quaeda in the Levant) is an organization which was designated as terrorist and its activity was prohibited in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (judgement of Esilsky district court of Astana as of 15 October 2015).

22. Hizb-ut-Tahrir al-Islami is an international religious organization which was designated as extremist and its activity was prohibited in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (judgement of the Court of Astana as of 28 March 2005).

23. Yakyn Inkar is an organization designated as extremist which activity was prohibited in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan (judgement of Esilsk destrict court of Astana as of 10 October 2018).
